I loved directing Dr. Ruth, America’s most famous sex therapist for a new branded documentary series. I cannot express the inspiration this 92-year-old media personality, author & Holocaust survivor shares with her energy. Since I entered her apartment in Upper Manhattan she was totally in charge: Quick, sharp, jokey, and ultra-focused. Her deliveries on camera were brilliant.
I will never forget this shoot. A powerful lesson of resilience & willpower. An orphan from the Holocaust, that transformed the way America talks about sex when nobody else talked about it – Her sharpness and vitality at 92 years old is mind-blowing.
