Mo Gawdat, former Chief Business Officer of Google X had all the professional and financial success a dedicated engineer he could aim for. But life had an unexpected surprise for Mo and his family – all of a sudden, his dear son Ali died at 21 years old.
This turning point made Gawdat go into a transformational period in his life, write his book “Solve For Happy,” quit his job at Google and launch OneBillionHappy, where he encourages people to find Happiness and retrain their mind, expectations and life approach, no matter the hardships or circumstances we face.
As a director, I wanted to be extremely tactful and respectful, at the same time, my duty is to dig for truth, and Mo opened up recreating part of the events, but most importantly, he shared his unique outlook in life, his take on gratitude and I believe, a lesson on human resilience.
